Born in Jerusalem in 1994, Omer Friedlander spent his childhood and youth in Tel-Aviv. After studying English Literature at Cambridge University in England, he pursued a Master of Fine Arts program at Boston University with the Saul Bellow Scholarship. He is a board member of Starworks at New York University. His stories have won numerous awards, and his writing endeavours have been supported by the Bread Loaf Scholarship and the Vermont Studio Centre Scholarship. He currently teaches Creative Writing at Columbia University.
