DBC Pierre is the author of novels including "Vernon God Little", "Ludmila's Broken English", and "Lights Out In Wonderland", as well as an illustrated novel "Petit Mal" for confused adults and the Hammer novel "Breakfast With The Borgias". "Vernon God Little" has been translated into 43 languages and has received awards including the Man Booker Prize, the Whitbread First Novel Award, the Bollinger Wodehouse Everyman Award, and the James Joyce Award presented by University College Dublin. His memoir/manual titled "Release the Bats" was published in 2016 by Faber & Faber.

Pierre resides in the United Kingdom and Ireland. His latest novel, "Meanwhile in Dopamine City", was published in August 2020 by Faber & Faber. His book examining risk and art, "Big Snake, Little Snake", was published by CHEERIO in April 2022.
