Manuel Munoz is the author of the novel "What you See in the Dark", as well as the short story collections "Zigzagger" and "The Faith Healer of Olive Avenue", which was listed for the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award. He is a member of the National Art Foundation and the New York Art Society. He has won the Whiting Writer Award once, the O. Henry Award three times, and one of his stories has been published in Best American Short Stories. A native of Dinuba, California, he currently lives and works in Tucson, Arizona.
