Rana Haddad grew up in Latakia, Syria, and moved to England in her early youth, where she studied English Literature at Cambridge University. Since then, she has worked as a journalist for BBC, Channel 4, and various other publishing institutions, and her poems have been published. "The Unexpected Love Objects of Dunya Noor" is her debut novel.
